Shows some patience. Promptness. But the the subject suffers the weakness of addiction. He is not waiting to build community. He is not waiting to plant a tree. He is waiting to continue to invest in his own solapsism.

The Velvet Underground; Sunday Morning
The lyrics have the remorsefulness of the late repentant. The nararator is cast in an over-indulgent fog set on by the previous night, but this is balanced with a hopeful "praise" of the morning and the dawn. In some sense there is an over indulgance in community and there is a hope that "There's always someone around you who will call"
